Uma pesquisa realizada pelo DataSenado, um instituto do Senado Federal, mostrou que um em cada quatro brasileiros perdeu dinheiro após cair em um golpe digital no período entre setembro de 2023 a setembro de 2024. Um dos meios para aplicação dos golpes é o WhatsApp.
Entre os golpes no WhatsApp, criminosos buscam fazer as vítimas efetuarem compras em sites falsos e realizarem Pix para um suposto amigo. Há também quem consiga clonar a conta da vítima e deixá-la sem acesso no próprio dispositivo. Para evitar que isso aconteça, é possível utilizar quatro funções do app e se proteger.
1 – Ative a autenticação em duas etapas Tempo necessário: 1 minuto
Ao ativar a autenticação em duas etapas no WhatsApp, você eleva a segurança e privacidade de sua conta. O processo para habilitar o recurso é muito parecido no Android e iOS. Veja o passo a passo.
Acesse a aba “Configurações” Para isso, toque nos três pontos no canto superior direito.
Clique em “Conta” e aperte em “Confirmação em duas etapas”
Escolha a opção “Ativar” Após isso, você vai precisar criar um PIN de seis dígitos e confirmar a ativação do recurso.
2 – Coloque senha no WhatsApp Você pode se proteger de golpes no WhatsApp utilizando uma senha com biometria ou PIN. Assim, fica mais difícil que bandidos clonem sua conta. Abaixo, veja como fazer!
