Mustafa Suleyman, chefe de IA da Microsoft, e Sam Altman, CEO da OpenAI, discordam sobre o cronograma, os recursos necessários e as definições em torno da inteligência artificial geral (IAG), refletindo a evolução das estratégias de IA.

Por outro lado, Altman ajustou sua visão, sugerindo que a IAG pode surgir mais cedo do que se espera, mas com impacto menor do que o inicialmente previsto. Ele acredita que a transição para a superinteligência será mais demorada e as preocupações com segurança apareceriam apenas nessa fase.
Essas divergências refletem as tensões entre Microsoft e OpenAI, com a gigante dos softwares tentando competir com os modelos da startup do ChatGPT. Apesar da apreensão, Suleyman considera essas diferenças naturais em qualquer parceria.
